At Markayzee Sports Photography ("Markayzee," "we," "us," or "our"), we take great care in capturing, editing, and delivering high-quality photography services and products. Because our services and products are personalized and created specifically for each customer, our refund policy varies depending on the type of purchase.
By purchasing photography services or products from Markayzee Sports Photography, you acknowledge and agree to this Refund Policy.
1. General Refund Policy
Photography services, digital images, and custom print products are personalized and cannot be returned or resold.
For this reason, all sales are considered final unless otherwise stated in this policy.
Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are limited to situations where Markayzee Sports Photography is unable to provide the purchased service or product as described.
2. Action Photography Coverage Refunds
When purchasing action photography coverage for games, tournaments, or sporting events, customers are purchasing access to professional photography coverage of an event.
Sports photography is dependent on live game conditions and opportunities that cannot be fully controlled.
Refunds are not provided based on:
- The number of images captured
- The number of images delivered
- Athlete playing time
- Coaching decisions
- Position played
- Limited opportunities during the event
- Missed plays or moments
- Athlete performance
- Game results
- Weather conditions that occur after coverage has begun
- Personal preferences regarding image selection or editing style
While we make every reasonable effort to photograph participating athletes, individual athlete coverage and a specific number of images cannot be guaranteed.
3. Event Cancellation & Weather Refunds
Photography coverage is provided for events that occur.
Event Canceled Before Coverage Begins
If an event is canceled before photography services begin and no alternative coverage is provided, customers may be eligible for:
- A full refund, or
- Account credit toward a future photography opportunity
The available option may depend on the circumstances of the cancellation.
Event Delayed, Shortened, or Canceled After Coverage Begins
If photography coverage has already started, services provided up to that point are considered fulfilled.
Refunds are generally not available for:
- Weather delays
- Early game cancellations
- Schedule changes
- Tournament modifications
- Reduced playing time caused by event circumstances
Rescheduled events are subject to photographer availability.
4. Photo Day & Scheduled Sessions
For team photo days, senior sessions, and other scheduled photography appointments:
Customers are responsible for arriving on time and being prepared for their scheduled session.
Refunds are not provided for:
- Late arrival
- Missed appointments
- Athlete availability issues
- Scheduling conflicts
- Failure to participate during the scheduled session
If a session cannot be completed due to photographer error or circumstances within our control, we will work with the customer or organization to determine an appropriate resolution.
5. Digital Image Purchases
Digital images are delivered electronically and cannot be returned.
Once a digital image has been delivered or downloaded, refunds are not available.
Refunds may be considered only if:
- The purchased digital image cannot be delivered due to an error on our part, or
- A technical issue prevents access to the purchased files and cannot be reasonably resolved
6. Physical Print & Product Purchases
All physical products are custom-made using customer-selected images and are not eligible for return or exchange due to preference, including:
- Changes of mind
- Image selection preference
- Cropping preference
- Personal taste regarding editing style
If a product arrives:
- Damaged
- Defective
- Incorrect
- Different from what was ordered
please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order information and photographs of the issue.
We will work to provide a replacement or other appropriate resolution.
7. Duplicate Orders
Customers are responsible for reviewing their order before completing checkout.
Duplicate purchases made accidentally may not be eligible for refunds once production or delivery has begun.
8. Order Errors
If an error occurs due to Markayzee Sports Photography, such as:
- Incorrect product delivered
- Incorrect image used
- Production mistake
please contact us promptly so we can correct the issue.
